“BEST. CLE. EVER.” On July 17, 2019 Harriet was honored to share with the busy attorneys of Parker McCay the practice of Mindfulness. In this highly interactive program, she highlighted how being able to increase self-awareness and move away from autopilot, and to shift from a mindset of responding vs reacting, supports an environment where stress management skills are routinely needed to help attorneys deal with situations that are both unfamiliar and uncertain.
Harriet believes bringing Mindfulness to the law profession is critical to support their practice. As the 2018 Report from the National Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being states, “To be a good lawyer, one has to be a healthy lawyer. Sadly, our profession is falling short when it comes to well-being.”
